Battery life is just terrible! - 2009-05-01
I actually like the shape and feel of the product and when it works it actually does the job quite well.
Mine just stopped working after just 6 months which worked out around 12 actual shaves which is not great value at all.
It is really hard to find a decent cordless shaver these days.
Cheap Tat - 2009-02-06
I bought this because it was the cheapest beard trimmer I could find. Its awkward to use and not terribly effective... Buy something from a well known brand
Poor case construction. - 2007-10-05
I bought one in February and it was actually quite nice.
It cuts acceptably but there's not much adjustment.
After 3-4 months the switch became a bit flakey. It seems the case had cracked and water had gotten in and rusted the switch.
I sent it for replacement and got a refurb back. The refurbished unit worked but had the same cracks in the base *and* a crack in the body - it looks like there's a design or manufacturing fault. I've just sent that one back too!!!
Feel free to buy one - but don't use it in the shower.
a shaving travesty - 2007-04-19
This product is a complete disaster. After 30 seconds of use, the blades slow down to a pathetic rate because according to the manual, hairs can get trapped in the blades and slow them down. Well they certainly do - all the time, rendering this beard trimmer totally inoperable.
It's also useless at trimming beyond much less than 3mm, which is no good if you want to maintain a short, neat beard.
Words can't express how much I hate this peice of junk. I wish I could send it back and get my money back, but I can't, so I'm going to leave it under the wheels of a bus instead.
Nicky Clarke should be ashamed.
