Disappointed - 2009-08-13
I am so disappointed with ths product. While using straighteners, I discovered the plates do not meet, therefore slip right off my hair. Had to return.
These are great - 2009-04-22
I have always sworn by GHD's and nothing can get better but when my last straighteners blew up on me I had to get new ones fast. These are just as good as GHD's and at a fraction fo the price. I would recommend them to anyone.
Straighteners from Hell - should come with health warning - 2009-02-23
I am on my third replacement set of these striaghteners since purchasing them less than a year ago.
The first pair lasted 3 months before they developed a loose wire and kept short circuiting my electricity.
The second set lasted 2 months and the most recent replacement set lasted only 6 WEEKS!!!
This item is very dangerous and should come with a warning to use at your own risk due to faulty wiring.
I have since purchased another make and have no intenetion of every using Nicky Clarke again.
One faulty pair you could put down as a one off error but three faulty pairs not lasting more than three months is unacceptable and bad workmanship.
Straighteners - 2009-01-28
These straighteners seemed like a brilliant buy when I first got them, but after about 3 months, the wire disconnected and the light only turned on at a certain angle. I decided to get a replacement because I thought the straighteners were pretty decent, but yet again, after about 2 months, the straighteners have yet again disconnected and refuse to properly work. I looked after both pairs very well, but it's quite obvious they are are more hazardous and cheap than you would imagine.
Waste of money - 2008-10-29
Those straightners were a big disappointment. The plates on it wore away after a couple of months. Total waste of money, I would never buy Nicky Clarke again. The cheap option turned out to be expensive.
