Disappointed - 2010-04-09
Bought this dryer after reading fantastic reviews. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, the rubberised coating around the handle area started peeling off. No problem with Amazon and it was replaced under warranty. Within a few weeks the same thing happened again, with the coating blistering and peeling - we had been very very careful with this, just in case it had been our fault (in some mysterious way), the first time. So now I'm back with the old faithful Babyliss (with 5 year warranty!), as the only Nicky Clarke product without this coating is red!
So, functionally a great product, but who wants a scruffy, peely hair dryer with only a one year warranty? Very disappointed.

i recieved my hairdryer but never recieved the nozzle or defuser i was so annoyed as i read the invoice as it states a 7 day return policy and only an email address that doesnt bother to get bac intouch. so now im stuck using my old hairdryer (good job i never threw it out) and a new 1 brand new in box with no tools and ive already paid for it and cant send it back. be careful when you order guys !!!!

I bought this hairdryer for myself to replace my previous one that had broken. I was a bit sceptical about the whole ionic hairdryer thing, but thought I would give this one a shot.
I couldn't be more impressed. The ionic technology really does make a difference to your hair. After using, my hair was left smoother and shinier than before. I will be sticking to ionic from now on.
The AC motor gives that salon power and it is quieter than previous hairdryers I have owned. Its not too heavy and feels comfortable to use. Nice and long so hair doesnt get sucked in the motor.
The lead is 2.5m long which is one of the longest on the market.
Would definitely recommend.

Bought as a present for my Wife (on her recommendation). She seems very happy with it, comments that it feels good quality and does a better job than her previous hair drier. Can't say fairer than that!
